Our hybrid SEIR (Susceptible Exposed Infected Recovered) agent-based model for the COVID-19 epidemic was the most cited paper in 2020 from the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at UFMG.
The proposal aimed to simulate the pandemic dynamics using a society of agents emulating people, business and government; and different scenarios of social distancing interventions.
It was published on July 2020 and has achieved more than 160 citations so far. It is available at https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0960077920304859
